Our weekly camps run from 9 am-3pm, Monday-Friday!

Campers are placed into instructional tiers according to age so that each camp benefits everyone.

* Extended day care available for an additional $ 45 per week (8:00 am-5:00pm).

* OPEN TO EVERYONE - You do not need to live within the community to participate in our camps!

* Masks and temperature checks will be required along with additional Covid-19 precautions as recommended by the CDC .

10 Weeks of Specialty Camps

ROCK BAND Ever wonder what it's like to be a ROCK STAR? This exciting camp brings all the elements of performing in a band together while teaching fundamentals in guitar, keyboards, drums, bass, and vocals, as well as stage performance in preparation for a final show! Knowledge of instruments is helpful, but not required.

-------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------- STOP-MOTION ANIMATION Explore the in-depth aspects Stop Motion Animation! In this course we will learn, practice, and then implement the Five Relevant Principals of Animation and apply them to create our very own movies. We will start by creating a story board for each group's movies. Using a variety of Claymation creations, Legos, Paper Art, and dolls and toys, campers will design, create and animate their own characters to use in their films! Each student will take home a digital file of their movie (s) and be able to view everyone else's final films. Even if you have done this camp in the past, there is SO MUCH MORE for you to learn and advance on with! (Students will be required to bring their own device (Tablet, Phone, etc ..) and will need Stop Motion Studio (FREE) installed for this camp)

STORYBOOK Step into the world of creative writing and illustration with former Disney Animator and renowned published author / illustrator, Peter Raymundo. Explore the creative aspects of bringing an original story idea to life through lessons in creative writing, drawing, and illustration techniques. This is a camp you do not want to miss!

Tastisions cooking camp teaches cooking skills, techniques, kitchen safety, ingredient selection, and more! Come join us for an exciting 5 day culinary experience as we cook up some of our best CULINARY CREATIONS. Each day will focus on a different lesson, menu, and of course-TASTINGS, with creations to share with family and friends. Campers are required to bring an apron and “take-home” containers!

MUSICAL THEATER camp is designed to provide an all-inclusive experience in stage production! Campers will learn delivery of lines, expression, characterization, gestures and improvisation techniques through dialogue, movement, and singing, as well as set and prop creation, costume, and behind the scenes tech work all in preparation for a final show!

MULTI-MEDIA ART Find the inner artist in you! Come explore and learn concepts in sketching, sculpting, print making, collage, and painting, as well as various techniques and styles of artists throughout the ages.

** Enhance self expression while supporting problem solving, communication skills, critical thinking, and confidence building. Artists will work together to design and create and final showcase of their work!

All Artists need to bring a smock to camp each day.

-------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------- HOW TO WRITE A GRAPHIC NOVEL Campers who have an interest in comic books will love this camp! Graphic Novels are fun and easy to read. They combine writing, pictures, and boxes called panels to tell their stories. Campers will learn how to set up a CHARACTER, SETTING, PROBLEM, STRUGGLE and RESOLUTION, as well as CHARACTER DESIGN , particularly how shape and POSTURE expresses a character's personality. Join us for this exciting camp and learn all of the elements that go into writing and illustrating your very own GRAPHIC NOVEL!

-------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------- SKETCH TO CANVAS is strictly a drawing and painting camp delving into various drawing and sketching techniques throughout the ages and in Pop Culture, and transformation into amazing painted works of art. Campers will explore the use of various sketching mediums, (charcoal, pencil, pastels, chalk, etc), and experiment with several forms of painting, (acrylic, watercolor, etc)

-------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------- PUPPET MASTERS taught by a former Disney Puppeteer, this fantastic camp takes kids on a journey through the amazing world of Puppetry exploring various styles and uses of puppets in modern stage production. Campers will take a hands-on approach to learning various puppeteering techniques and will even create their own puppets to showcase in a final stage performance!

POP VOCAL Do you love to sing? Maybe you have a favorite song or artist that inspires you? Come join us for this exciting camp as you learn the elements that go into being a POP STAR! Find your inner voice and learn to prepare and produce solo / group performances while learning vocal technique, dance, performance artistry, and much more!

To ensure that all camps are prepped and organized and there are materials and supplies for all of our campers,

ALL CAMP REGISTRATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED 72 HOURS PRIOR TO THE CAMP START DATE. ANY REGISTRATIONS MADE LESS THAN 72 HOURS PRIOR TO THE CAMP START DATE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $ 25 LATE REGISTRATION FEE.

THERE IS NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION FOR CAMP.

OPMI Cancellation Policy*

A non-refundable $50 deposit per child/per camp is due at the time of registration. Remaining camp payments are due ONE week prior to each camp start date. To withdraw from a camp, notification must be made in writing 2 weeks prior to the start date of the camp or the remaining camp payment will be required.

OPMI Payment Policy*

If registrations are received after the camp registration deadline of 72 hours prior to the camp start date, I understand there will be an additional $25 late registration fee per child added to my camp payment due at the time of registration. I also understand that any portion of the camp that my child cannot attend shall be forfeited without refund or credit. Payments are due 1 week before camp starts, and any payments made after that are subject to a $25 late payment fee per child.

Statement of Understanding*

By checking this box I accept and understand that there are 10 different weeks of Summer Camp. Camp runs Monday - Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm unless otherwise notated, and extended camp hours are from 8:00am- 5:00pm. I understand that extended care is $50 per week per child; extended care fee is NOT prorated for amount of days my child needs extended care. Any portion of the camp that my child cannot attend shall be forfeited without refund or credit. I also understand that I am responsible for picking up my child from camp on time. If I am more than 10 minutes late, I accept and understand that late pick-up fees will be applied.
