2009 Recital Success!!

The 2009 Lights! Camera! Action! Recital was a huge success! Thank you to all the performers and family members who were able to come out and support our striving musicians. We all heard wonderful performances of various songs from Star Wars, Sound of Music, A Chorus Line, and even television theme songs such as Jeopardy and the Brady Bunch! All of the performers did a show stopping job!

Make sure to check out the website for pictures of the performers from the recital!

Summer Scheduling!!

With summer fast approaching and vacation planning in the midst, many of us need an alternative schedule so that we can continue lessons but also utilize the freedom summer brings us. Many instructors are more than happy to alter your lesson schedule during the summer months to a different day or perhaps an earlier time. Please discuss your scheduling needs as soon as possible so that your instructor can make every effort to accommodate you. If you are planning a vacation, please let us know in advance so that your instructor can plan for your absence and your invoice can reflect your holiday! We at OPMI hope that all of you have a safe and happy summer!

Instructor News and Views

Many of our very talented and gifted instructors spend much of their time performing for various events and venues when they’re not teaching. Several of them may be recording demos or can be seen around town as soloists or in a band.

Anytime we can inform you of a special event or concert which is available to the public involving one of our instructors, we feel it is our greatest pleasure to pass along the news to inspire our young aspiring musicians. Much can be learned from simply witnessing a talented musician, and instructor in a performance setting!

Notable Reminder

Cancellation Policy: Please note that if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson for any reason, 24 hour notice must be given to Joanna Crews or your instructor in order to possibly reschedule your lesson or to receive credit on your next month’s bill. “Nothing separates the generations more than music. By the time a child is eight or nine, he has developed a passion for his own music that is even stronger than his passions for procrastination and weird clothes.”
